Green Plans in Action: Singapore: Industry Advantages: Background
Competitiveness for Vibrant Economy
In 1996, the Singapore Productivity and Standards Board (PSB) was formed as a result of a merger between two statutory boards - the National Productivity Board and the Singapore Institute of Standards and Industrial Research. In 2001, PSB was repositioned as the Standards, Productivity and Innovation Board of Singapore (SPRING Singapore), tasked to support enterprise development.
