Oyster Farming in Point Reyes: a disservice to the public

Defense of Place founder Huey D. Johnson helped create Pt. Reyes National Seashore. And he hasn’t forgotten the original intention to give Drake’s Bay the wilderness status it deserves. The National Park Service is accepting public comment until November 22, 2010 on a lease extension for Drake’s Bay Oyster Company that could do business in nearby Tomales Bay.
